Walkin in the rain

Do you ever notice that when people are walking in the rain without an umbrella that it looks like they are getting hit with hail? Honestly have some decency and just walk thru it with your head held high, its not like you are going to stay any drier. Also if you walk in it like you dont care, when some jackass is hopping in the rain and sees you, they will realize how dumb they look and turn red.

Warming Up. (Book of Eli)

I think that ive spent the last 2 hours configuring and perfecting this goddam blog. Honestly its like pulling teeth. Yeah they like to say that its easy, but if you want a good one to your liking, it takes time. But then so do everything nowadays. Let me jump into it. I watched the movie "book of eli" at the theater today, featuring denzel washington and gary oldman. A great preformance by denzel and i would say an average one by oldman. Set in a post apocalyptic USA, denzel carries a book "west" and oldman wants it. There are a few decent fight scenes, he uses a scimitar like sword, shotgun and a pistol. I liked the gritty feel of the movie, reminded me a lot of Road Warrior. I was very pleased by the ending, but the movie overall was a bit preachy on the christian side, he quotes a lot of the bible to make what hes doin seem a bit more epic than it is. Denzel was a good pick for this one and nails his character, while oldman seems to be portraying his namesake a bit. He is the mayorlike figure of this shanty town but it is unclear why when clearly he is surrounded by moraless folk who dont mind a good killin, especially his #1 in command. The story is full of holes but a good quick action flick with a decent ending gives it around a 88-90 in my book of bugsy.
